Immanent, active gods and the living land often populate Lyri's stories, as do characters with fluid gender and racial identities. Other favorite themes include cultural conflicts, how our perceptions influence our reality, and characters using their weaknesses as strengths.
Lyri has an undergraduate degree in anthropology/sociology and worked as a production editor in publishing for five years. She currently supports herself as a massage and physical therapist. |
