"Inanna Eclipsed" in Silver Blade Magazine, Issue 57, March 2024. 
This poem was inspired by an ancient Sumerian myth "Inanna's Descent."  The myth can be viewed as a tale describing the seasons, or an explanation for why the planet Venus (associated with Inanna) disappears from the sky at certain times of the year.  In "Inanna Eclipsed," the two goddesses, Inanna and her sister Ereshkigal, are viewed as twin aspects of the same diety.
    You can now access two poems, “I love the Ballpark,” and “Summer Amusement,” and an essay “Arch Magic” originally published in the St. Louis Writers Guild anthology Where Rivers Meet.

"Home from the Wizard Wars" was featured in The Art of Speculative Poetry, a workshop by Katherine Quevedo, part of the Oregon Poetry Association virtual conference on October 7.   "Home From the Wizard Wars" was a Rhysling Award nominee first published in Silver Blade, Issue 54, Fall 2022.

"Night Communion​" was published in Eternal Haunted Summer, Winter Solstice 2021 issue.

​The poem explores how it might feel to make love with the night, inspired in part by Annie Sprinkle's essay "Beyond Bisexual" in the anthology, Bi Any Other Name.
